Duncan Thomsen is a British film editor, AI cinematographer and director, known for fusing history, technology and storytelling into groundbreaking visual work. With a career spanning collaboration with the BBC, ITV and PBS, crowned by an Emmy for The Ascent of Money, he brings a rare depth of narrative expertise into the fast-evolving world of AI art.

He was the first in the UK to pioneer AI for Channel 4, CBS and Amazon drama reconstructions, and has since extended his practice into film trailers, music videos and commercials — redefining how visual stories are produced and consumed.

His AI-driven images, which reimagine historical themes through a contemporary lens, have gone viral worldwide multiple times, most famously with the ‘AI Jesus Selfie’ and his reinterpretation of The Last Supper. These works have positioned him as the most commercially published UK AI artist to date, with global reach across online media and mainstream press.

Anthony Crossby has worked in the post production industry for over 30 years, with hands-on experience managing projects from inception through to delivery, including globally renowned formats such as Mock The Week and Whose Line Is It Anyway

As co-managing director of The Independent Post Company Ltd, Anthony has nurtured and guided the careers of numerous internationally recognised broadcast editors, while overseeing the company’s evolution into one of Europe’s premier agencies for editorial talent.

Having worked with Duncan for nearly two decades, Anthony brings deep industry knowledge, practical understanding of post production and a strong enthusiasm for emerging technology — forming a creative partnership that underpins Artificial Studios.
